The fashion world’s version of prom is the Met Gala. Every spring this fundraiser serves as the opening celebration for the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute annual fashion exhibit. Last year’s exhibit, celebrating punk, sparked trends throughout the nail and fashion world. This year’s theme is Charles James: Beyond Fashion.
